We are urgently seeking a reliable and skilled General Handyman to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys independent work and has experience across multiple trades. We offer flexible scheduling and the potential to earn $2,000 to $3,000 per week depending on project scope and complexity. We’re looking for handymen who can cover a 50-mile radius around Pittsburgh, serving clients throughout Allegheny County and surrounding regions.
Requirements
- Proven handyman or maintenance experience
- Skilled in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Own tools suitable for multi-trade work
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently with quality workmanship.
- Complete assigned work orders on time while maintaining high standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients.
- Provide your own tools and a reliable vehicle for travel within the service area.
- Carry liability insurance or be willing to obtain it prior to starting work.
