About The Position

The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company is looking to hire a Storm General Foreman to join our storm services division!

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in overhead line construction.
• Extensive supervisory and education through a trade school or valid training program.
• Familiar with Excel and Microsoft products: Assistance in building Rosters accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, tooling, and personnel for emergency storm events that develop quickly.
• Maintain consistent staffing (20+ personnel, including 85% JL's).
• Responsible for the coordination of the activities of The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company's field crews and/or subcontractors with those others on the job site.
• Responsible for quality control on all storm related projects in keeping with The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company's high-quality standards.
• Maintain harmonious relations with General Contractors, Owners, Sub-contractors, and all others associated with the storm.
• Assists in the settlement of any employee/subcontractor differences that may arise.
• Responsible for the prompt and proper return of any surplus materials and/or equipment from each storm.
