About The Position
General/Float Custodian - District Wide Full-time position, 40 hours/week Schedule: 12 months, Monday-Friday Beginning hourly rate: $16.83, subject to experience Full Benefits included: Medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement Non-exempt Summary: Keep the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment etc. in the building.
- Restocks disposable items and provides lead custodian with inventory usage and data.
- Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up need equipment
- minor PM maintenance tasks (light bulb & ballast replacement, other minor repairs) of school buildings.
- regular custodial tasks of cleaning, scrubbing, buffing and waxing.
