Spotsylvania County Public Schools is seeking student-focused, dedicated Paraeducators to assist teachers and other professional practitioners by providing instructional support to further enhance the efficiency and productivity of educational environments. Advertised salaries are reflective of the 2025-2026 School Year and will be updated after 2026-2027 School Year budget approval. Essential Job Functions: Assists students with the organization and completion of daily work assignments. Follows the direction and guidance of classroom teachers to support instruction of students using prescribed programs and established curriculum. Assists with evaluating and testing students. Works with small groups of students in various subject areas. Follows established procedures for monitoring student behavior when supervising small or large groups. Monitors students' whereabouts and observes student safety. Performs routine clerical duties such as copying, typing, answering/making telephone calls, and basic troubleshooting. Performs additional non-instructional duties including, but not limited to, parent pick up/curbside duty, cafeteria duty, bus duty, hall duty, office duty, and class coverage, as necessary.
