About The Position

Tessera is seeking a Hard Working and Motivated General Clerk III with a positive and helpful attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Process clothing records by entering, updating, printing, and distributing records to soldiers through the Army’s designated system. Provide receptionist support by greeting customers, answering phones, taking messages, and responding to routine inquiries. Receive records requests and retrieve requested files from filing cabinets, transporting records as needed throughout the facility. Make copies of memos, adjustment documents, and other required documentation as part of daily operations. File records by preparing labels, alphabetizing documents, and maintaining organized filing systems in accordance with procedures. Deliver efficient and professional customer service to soldiers and unit personnel. Assist with conducting required monthly inventories to ensure accountability and accuracy. Inspect clothing records to verify accuracy and completeness of information. Enter required data into the designated system to generate reports such as laundry tickets and other system outputs. Assist with processing temporary equipment loans and lateral transfers to supported units. Ensure customers are properly cleared through the Central Issue Facility (CIF) when departing the installation and that all clothing record adjustments are completed. Process adjustment documents by recording data in logbooks, sequencing document numbers, matching documents to clothing records, and filing records in chronological order. Process cash collections, statements of charge, and Financial Liability Investigations for Property Loss (FLIPL) while ensuring accuracy of entries in the electronic FLIPL system. Reconcile daily cash and check deposits with receipts and ensure deposits are electronically reported to the U.S. Treasury through OTCnet. Maintain accurate and complete financial documentation and forward required paperwork to appropriate agencies. Maintain delinquent account files for customers who do not complete the clearance process within 30 days and provide updated reports to III Corps on a monthly basis. All Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficiency with MS Office required.
  • Must be a team player and ready to help the team wherever it is needed.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
