Foundation Health Partners is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North. Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board.
• Current DEA number.
• Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement.
• Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care.
• Must be willing to update skills constantly.

Nice To Haves

• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret nuclear cardiolite, exercise stress testing, transesophageal echocardiogram, electrical cardioversion, and loop recorder placement.
• Assist with seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting and interpretation of ECG’s, echocardiogram’s, holter, and event monitors.

Benefits

• $500k base salary + production bonuses. Expected compensation between $700k - $840k
• $65k Sign-On bonus.
• 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.
• $5,000 paid CME, licensure/credential reimbursement, and covered malpractice insurance.
