About The Position
KRNV is looking for a General Assignment Reporter! Your responsibilities as a General Assignment Reporter will include researching, writing, and delivering compelling news stories for broadcast, digital, and social platforms, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements
- Proven ability to research, write, and deliver clear, accurate, and engaging news stories under tight deadlines.
- Strong live reporting, interviewing, and storytelling skills across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Excellent news judgment and ability to identify stories that resonate with local audiences.
- Proficient in newsroom software, social media, and digital content creation tools.
- Teachable, Coachable
- Experience with live shots is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Live-U is a plus
