About The Position

Position Responsibilities •Monitor credit status of all in-house guests, functions and permanent accounts, and residential F&B accounts. Immediately report any credit deficiencies or potential problems to the Front Office Manager, Food & Beverage Managers and Assistant Director of Finance. •Manage the credit card dispute inquiries and chargebacks in a timely fashion to minimize the charge backs. Maintain a schedule of all charge backs with explanation. Handling third party credit card inquiries • Prepare limo, Spa payroll and A/V third party payment reconciliation for approval/payment. Prepare monthly common area electric bill, accrue all utilities monthly, allocate water charges. • Assist in Accounts Receivable as necessary, preparing group billing if needed. • Assist in Income Audit as necessary and cross-train for position coverage as well as A/P and cashiering. •Assist with various other accounting projects as requested Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements •Knowledge of hotel/condominium computer system and office equipment. • Excellent speaking and communication skills.  • Strong financial analysis skills, math/numerical acumen. • Understanding of government requirements. • Self-directed, ability to work on own without direct supervision. Specific Position Requirements •The ability to offer any assistance possible to guests. •The ability to perform other tasks or projects assigned by hotel management and staff. •Comply with TIHTC work rules and standards per the associate handbook and as directed by management. • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and balance priorities. EXPERIENCE At least two years’ experience in Hotel Accounting a must.
