This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, engaging, and educational experience for campers in the Gears program. This includes working with other coordinators and the Assistant Camp Director, Programs to provide team-building and leadership opportunities to Gears campers, training Gears in dining hall and dish pit procedures, and leading groups in pre- and post-meal set-up and cleaning. Coordinators live in a cabin with campers, aid in implementing a set curriculum, attend trainings and meetings, provide supervision and community expectations, create positive environment for campers and peers, and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of unit areas.
