Position Summary Project Engineer: The Gas and Chemical Systems (GCS) Project Engineer role is a technical position dedicated to managing both expense and capital projects related to high purity gas and chemical dispense equipment for fab processes. This is a unique role that requires extensive interaction with multiple groups including equipment vendors, mechanical/electrical contractors, fab engineering, and GCS operations teams to ensure a seamless integration of project related improvements for GCS Operations and Infrastructure. An individual within this role relies on excellent time management skills, extreme attention to detail, and problem solving ability to be a successful project manager within equipment management teams.

Requirements

  • 4 year college/university or equivalent related experience preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical engineering preferred .
  • 4+ years of related experience (equipment and/or project management of gas/chemical equipment)
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to represent the group in work coordination and execution

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects while ensuring safety and system integrity, including hazardous material management.
  • Develop, justify, prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering tasks and projects.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable codes, standards, specifications, practices, QA/QC policies.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to construct new infrastructure, demo out systems containing active hazards, and for the installation and qualification of new systems.
  • Coordinate, manage, and report on multiple assigned projects regarding work progress, project accounting, and forecasted schedule.
