About The Position
Working with the Grand Challenges Initiative is a great way to getinvolved with the campus community. We are looking for a new student assistant to join our team in the GCI Makerspace lab (located in the Hashinger Science Center, 4 floor, room 427). The position offers 5 hours per week for the entire Spring 2026 semester, with the potential to continue into future semesters.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a lab setting.
Responsibilities
- supervise 3D printing projects to ensure safety
- provide guidance where their expertise allows
- keep track of equipment use and maintenance
