Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: As an GC Pro Buying Supervisor, you will support the support VP of GC Pro in creating the strategic plan while partnering with the category manager. Your responsibilities will include: Assortment Development: Collaborate to create a product assortment that aligns with strategic objectives, driving sales and margin growth for selected categories. Vision Implementation: Work closely with visual merchandising, marketing, and digital teams to translate the category vision into engaging product pages and store displays across the chain. Data Analysis: Analyze sales and consumer behavior data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and implement strategies for sales growth. - Market Share Monitoring: Track and report on market share performance, assisting in the development of tactics to strengthen our market position. - Planning Collaboration: Partner with the planning team to ensure accurate pre-season projections and Open-to-Buy (OTB) decisions that align with financial goals for your category. - Promotional Development: Contribute to the creation of impactful promotions that drive traffic both online and in-store while maximizing profitability. - Product Launch Excellence: Assist in executing best-in-class product launches that generate excitement and growth within the market. - Market Leadership: Support initiatives that enhance engagement and growth for musicians in our target market. - Negotiation Support: Participate in negotiations aimed at maximizing profitability across the category.
