Currently there is an exciting opportunity in Houston, TX for a Gateway CAPSTONE 2 Flight Integrator to support the Mission Technical Integrator Contract (MTIC) as part of our long-standing partnership with NASA. This is a part time position. Responsibilities The Flight Integrator will: Leads NASA and NASA support contractor integration for Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C), Rendezvous, Proximity Operations (RPO), and Cis-Lunar Mission Design (MD) maneuvering demo integration Supports CAPSTONE 2 vendor mission and spacecraft milestones and advises vendor during these reviews based on RPOD/GN&C experience Establishes partnerships with academia to support CAPSTONE 2 Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Skills: BS/BA degree in Engineering, Math, or Science from an accredited engineering school, college, or university, with (20) years of professional experience Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders Applied knowledge of product life cycle development and systems engineering practices Strong organization skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely to management Strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook) and SharePoint Preferred Education/Experience/Skills: Working experience with Human Space Exploration programs (Gateway, ISS, Orion, etc.) Experience with innovation or process improvements projects and initiatives Ability to independently manage multiple tasks concurrently Essential Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation Post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol as outlined in our Drug Free Workplace policy Work may involve sitting for extended periods May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.) Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required Must be able to work in a team atmosphere Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed Don’t miss out on this great opportunity; for immediate consideration, apply now! Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Engineering, Math, or Science from an accredited engineering school, college, or university, with (20) years of professional experience
