About The Position

The Gate Clerk is the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a large customer facility. This position may work a rotating shift. PT hours are less than posted typical hours.

Requirements

• The ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment
• Ability to Multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in an administrative capacity
• 2+ Years Customer Service Experience

Nice To Haves

• AS400 experience is preferred but not required
• Transportation or warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process Inbound and Outbound loads
• Checking in and maintaining security with outside carriers
• Performing yard audits as needed
