Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Practice Highlights: Cover one hospital location in the Albuquerque metro area Expected work schedule: 2 weeks per month, including weekends, primarily proceduralist role for inpatients with ambulatory patients in the morning. APP support for consultations Anesthesia support and dedicated endoscopy suite No need to admit or discharge patients as that is performed by the Medicine Hospitalist team System-Wide EPIC EMR Responsibilities: Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen. Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship. Participates in system-wide health management initiatives. Provides input into the practice site s financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues. Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards. Receives and resolves patient complaints. Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops. Performs other functions as required.
