Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Active or eligible for a Connecticut medical license.
• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat disorders related to the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies.
• Develop treatment plans and follow up with patients to monitor progress.
• Collaborate with other specialists and primary care physicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Participate in call coverage on a rotational basis.
