Full-Time or Part-Time Gastroenterologist (Physician) - Private Practice
About The Position
The new gastroenterologist will initially spend their time on 50% procedures and 50% consultations, follow-ups, etc. Once the new physician is settled into the practice, a physician assistant (PA) will be hired to partner with the physician and take over the majority of office-based visits, allowing the physician to focus on procedures (if desired - this arrangement is negotiable based on the physician’s preference). The practice has a certified endoscopy center, which has a fully-equipped procedure room, private pre-op and recovery areas, comfortable waiting room, and parking lot. The practice is also affiliated with two nearby hospitals. Physicians see an average of 20 patients per day in the office with the support of dedicated clinical assistants. Procedure days vary in volume depending on the types of procedures scheduled. The practice schedules dedicated administrative time for providers, utilizes an EHR, and has support staff in all areas.
