Full-Time Physician - Gastroenterologist
About The Position
This is an outpatient gastroenterology role. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide patient care for disorders and diseases associated with: - nutritional problems - malabsorption - irritable bowel syndrome - colon and bowel cancers - pancreatitis - pancreatic cancer - other GI conditions Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to: - perform non-invasive gastroenterology procedures - review patient histories - conduct physical evaluations - perform and/or order diagnostic tests to determine diagnoses - provide treatments and patient care plans - recommend management, including preventive healthcare and habits - prescribe medications - formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans - work with a clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and types of appointments scheduled. All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants. The office uses the Epic EHR. This position has no weekends or evenings. The new physician will share on-call phone answering responsibilities with other gastroenterologists, which is typically low volume.

- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Gastroenterology
