Gastroenterologist Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Gastroenterology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Lexington, KY Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Mar 17, 2026 - Ongoing Shifts needed to be filled: - Mar 17 -23 (Compulsory) - Apr 4 -20 - Jun 9 -15 - Jul 7 -13 - Aug 4 -10, 18 -24 - Sep 15 -21 - Sep 29 - Oct 5 - Oct 13 -19 - Oct 27 - Nov 2 - Nov 24 -30 - Dec 8 -14, 22 -28 Coverage Type: Call only Call Schedule: 24 -hr call - 14 days/month, 7 on/7 off Patient Volume: 10 -20 Admissions: 10 per night Rounding Included: Yes Support Staff: 3 APPs (dedicated to GI; They help in endoscopy and on the floors/ED) Duties: Bread & butter inpatient GI, ED call, consultations & ERCP. Required Procedures: ERCP and bread & butter endo EMR: Epic Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active KY License (preferred) or IMLC BC/BE ACLS DEA Clean record Must be able to do ERCP NPDB report (obtained in the last 30 days)
