JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Gastroenterologist • Job Type: Full-Time • Location: Carrollton, Georgia • Service Setting: Private Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Permanent PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Case Mix: General GI, with a preference for EUS and ERCP FACILITY INFORMATION • Reason for Coverage: Expansion of collaborative team PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes, with Tanner Health COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: Excellent earning potential • Partnership opportunity after 2 years • Ownership interest in the endoscopy center • Robust hospital-supported incentives • Comprehensive Health Coverage REQUIRED PROCEDURES • EUS and ERCP (Preferred) • General GI procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies JOB REQUIREMENTS • Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology • EUS and ERCP training preferred • Willingness to relocate to Carrollton/Carroll County area for call purposes • Fellows currently in training are encouraged to apply • Sponsorship not available DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Join a collaborative team of 5 board-certified gastroenterologists and 7 advanced practice providers • Deliver expert care to patients in both clinic and hospital settings • Utilize Epic EMR integrated across all settings • Participate in call coverage and community health outreach COMMUNITY INFO The city is a short drive to a downtown International Airport in Georgia. It is also a quick drive to one of the largest shopping malls in the State. This thriving, progressive community has numerous parks and recreational areas and is home to a vibrant arts scene. There are excellent public and private schools and a strong local economy.
Requirements
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology
- Willingness to relocate to Carrollton/Carroll County area for call purposes
