You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship as you: Support the operation and maintenance of systems that manage landfill gas, groundwater, leachate, and surface water. Monitor environmental conditions and collect data using specialized equipment. Assist with repairs and inspections to keep systems running smoothly. Help implement environmental policies and ensure compliance with permits and regulations. Contribute to field testing, sampling, and reporting that supports SWACO's mission of sustainability.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with pumps, motors, or pneumatic systems
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Valid Ohio Driver's License (CDL Class A or B preferred)
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and respond to emergencies
