About The Position

Oversee the planting, maintenance, and end of season shut down of Celia Thaxter's Historic Garden on Appledore Island. Coordinate and purchase seeds, plants, and other supplies. Solicit approval for all purchases through the Shoals Marine Laboratory's Director of Operations. Coordinate and supervise volunteers maintaining the Garden with a focus on maximizing flower blooming. Serve as a crew member on board a commercial vessel Other duties as assigned.
