About The Position

Garden Shop Sales Associate (Seasonal) Full-time and part-time available; weekend availability during peak seasons. Starting pay: $15.52 - 17.09/hr. depending on experience. Nice To Haves

  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Experience handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Familiarity with CounterPoint POS or similar systems.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Help customers find products and make informed purchase decisions.
  • Answer product questions or connect customers with the right team member.
  • Process transactions, exchanges, and returns using the CounterPoint POS system.
  • Accurately handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain organized and accurate cash drawers throughout each shift.
  • Inform customers about promotions, sales, and special events.
  • Stock merchandise and assist with inventory checks as needed.
  • Keep the Garden Shop clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Report equipment or system issues promptly.
  • Support overall nursery operations as assigned.
