About The Position

This position will require the maintenance of our outdoor garden center with focus on watering, plant maintenance, and customer service. Professional and efficient service to customers is expected all while demonstrating a high level of product knowledge. This is a seasonal position for the months of May, June, and July. This position will require heavy lifting and will be primarily outdoors.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and be on feet for majority of shift

Responsibilities

• Waters and maintains overall outdoor plant health
• Assists with unloading, organizing, and stocking deliveries from floral truck
• Provides exceptional customer service by helping load purchases to customer's car when needed, answering questions, giving recommendations, etc.
• Assists floral team in store when needed with watering, wrapping, operating POS system
• Stocks supplies as needed
• Maintains current knowledge of product
• Maintains a clean and organized work area free of hazards
• Abides by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy
• Keeps positive and helpful attitude during length of shift
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
