Garage Support
About The Position
Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Garage Support individual to provide essential support to the service shop. This role involves tasks such as vehicle transporting, maintaining shop cleanliness, and handling parts pick up/delivery. The position requires experience with Microsoft and Excel, along with customer service skills. The role also includes fueling fleet vehicles, performing light maintenance, conducting pre/post trip inspections, and ensuring vehicles are replenished with necessary fluids and air. The Garage Support is expected to complete daily fueling logs and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft
- Experience with Excel
- Customer service skills
- At least 1-2 years in automotive repair environment within a supportive role
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly

- Mechanical Aptitude preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the service shop
- Transport vehicles
- Maintain shop cleanliness
- Perform parts pick up/delivery
- Fuel Fleet vehicles
- Perform light maintenance
- Perform pre/post trip inspections
- Replenish vehicle with fuel, grease, fluids (oil, water, windshield cleaner), and air (tires) as needed
- Complete daily fueling logs
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
