Garage Door Installer Apprentice
About The Position
We are currently looking for a reliable, honest, hard-working career oriented installer to join our team as a Garage Door Installer. No experience necessary – we will train the right candidate. The ideal candidate should be a team player with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and experience installing and servicing garage doors. Customer service is a priority. Work will be performed at customer location – both residential and commercial job sites. Technicians will repair and/or service both residential and commercial garage doors and operators. Remove any existing equipment if needed and clean work space when complete. Offer solutions to customer for repair or replacement Complete necessary paperwork based on work performed on job site. New technicians will train with a skilled and experienced technician to learn the process and enhance their skills.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of electrical, mechanical or carpentry experience preferred.
- Must possess a current valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
- Must be able to lift between 75-100 lbs, use power and hand tools and climb ladders.
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold

- Welding experience
