Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift in a 24-hour environment as a designated essential employee, including working weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather per shift schedule
  • Ability to follow written processes and procedures in the execution of job duties
  • Ability to transition and report to the NCEL’s backup site location (Greensboro, NC) to execute job duties upon notice

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring all of NCEL’s ICS throughout the sales day to ensure near real-time processing of lottery transactions is occurring accurately and systems remain in balance without error against vendors’ provided Gaming Systems
  • Executes the NCEL’s daily game drawings as well as multi-jurisdictional game drawings as they occur on designated days per the defined processes and procedures.
  • Performs periodic monitoring, updating, review and verification of various NCEL public facing advertising streams per defined processes and procedures daily
  • Prepares daily reports comprising the events occurring on a particular shift worked
