About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Gaming Dealer, under the direction of the Pitboss, is responsible for the dealing of table games and/or other games and the operation of gaming equipment. The position is responsible for ensuring table games and/or gaming equipment is played in accordance with Kewadin Casino Gaming Authority and/or other applicable rules and regulations. The position is responsible for providing attentive, cheerful, courteous, professional customer service to all customers, internal and external, striving to always exceed their expectations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in person and in writing.
• Must be able to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisory personnel, coworkers, and the general public.
• Must be able to work extended hours.
• Must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands.
• Must maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Native American preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deals cards.
• Collects bets and pays winnings.
• Exchanges currency for playing coins/chips.
• Ensures customers have placed bets prior to play beginning.
• Reports suspicious activities to management.
• Protects house assets at all times.
• Inspects cards and equipment to ensure they are in good condition.
• Attends mandatory meetings.
• Complies with Company and departmental policies and procedures.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.
