JOB SUMMARY The Gaming Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, enjoyable, and efficient gaming experience for all patrons. This role includes monitoring gaming machines, assisting customers, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, handling cash transactions, and performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication abilities
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of gaming machines and related technology
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and financial transactions
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses or certifications as mandated by local or state authorities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service or gaming industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet patrons in a friendly and professional manner and provide assistance with game rules, machine operation, and general inquiries
  • Monitor gaming machines for proper operation, promptly report malfunctions, and perform minor troubleshooting when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal gaming regulations, including verifying patron age and promoting responsible gaming practices
  • Accurately handle cash transactions, process payouts, and maintain balanced cash drawers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of gaming areas and perform routine machine maintenance
  • Coordinate with technicians for major repairs or technical issues
  • Collaborate with team members, including security and hospitality staff, to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional patron experience
