About The Position

This is an unpaid internship designed to be a true entry point into the sports industry. Interns will gain experience inside a nationally recognized, championship-winning, USL League Two soccer club while building a professional portfolio of real work across game day, marketing, operations, and community engagement. Past Diablos interns have gone on to careers with major DFW organizations including the Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. This internship is built to give you practical experience, meaningful responsibility, and a proven pathway into sports.

Requirements

• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working outdoors and on their feet for extended periods of time
• Strong communicators who can work well with staff, volunteers, players, and fans
• Able to take direction while also being proactive when tasks arise

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and breakdown of stadium elements on matchdays, including signage, field equipment, and fan engagement areas
• Support coordination of pregame, in-game, and postgame timelines and logistics
• Work alongside operations staff to ensure a smooth flow of game day activities and promotions
• Help manage ball runners, player walkouts, halftime activities, and on-field presentations
• Assist with team, referee, and staff needs before, during, and after matches
• Provide support for ticketing areas, fan experience zones, and sponsor activations as needed
• Ensure game day materials, credentials, and equipment are properly prepared and distributed
