Students may work on administrative tasks while gallery sitting and may be asked to assist with installation and communications for exhibition during, or outside of open gallery hours. Students will need to engage viewers and visitors, but do not need to have prior experience in studio art or art history to apply. The student must be able to: Keep all conversations confidentially. Greet visitors in a professional, friendly manner. Answer the telephone and able to forward calls, take messages. Assist with filing, making copies. Able to make errands around campus. Assist with upcoming exhibitions (preparing exhibition post cards for mailing, putting out chairs, tables, etc.) Assist with organizing and preparing for exhibitions. Assist with communications and social media updates and organizing Gallery calendar for appointments. Assists other art installations around campus and at MOCA .
