We are seeking an experienced and energetic Account Manager for our Galleria Lighting Team. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design and creativity and is eager to assist our clients find the right lighting solutions while driving sales and delivering a first-class customer experience. As an Account Manager, you will be the point person on key accounts. We will count on you to service these key accounts and solicit new business to maximize profitability. You will position QED as the primary supplier of electrical supplies by delivering exceptional customer service, communication, and solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric scales; computing rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs; calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
  • Possess in depth knowledge of QED computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be a team player and abide by QED’s strong core values and beliefs.

  • Define long term objectives while maintaining the ability to adjust to changing situations

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • 4‐5 years of experience in related sales preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending QED’s value‐added services and programs tailored to their business objectives
  • Participate in training sessions and sales meetings
  • Work actively with key suppliers to develop business with new and existing customers
  • Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts
  • Deliver presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of company products and supplier offerings, application features, advantages, and benefits
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and profit budgets working with new and established customers
  • Other duties may be assigned.
