About The Position

Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Development within the department of Athletics. This is a pre-professional, 12-month position that includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State's Graduate School. The appointment will consist of a 2-month summer hourly student position and a 10-month GA appointment from August to May. As part of the responsibilities, the individual will adhere to the regulations and guidelines of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Missouri Valley Conference or the Missouri Valley Football conference, the Athletics Department, and Illinois State University.

Must be a degree-seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in MBA, Recreation Administration, or Sport Management.

Responsibilities

Grassroots growth of the annual fund
Cultivation and solicitation of contributors to athletics development
Assist with allocation of donor benefits
Gameday donor hospitality room coordination
Stewardship and cultivation of alumni and WAF members
Other duties as assigned.
