About The Position

This is a Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) student technical position referred to as Student Techceptionist, which assists and supports faculty, students, staff, and clients utilizing the LX Studio spaces during the day and evening hours. Primary duty is troubleshooting technology issues, including video conferencing or other related classroom technology. Duties will include setting up classroom and meeting spaces to requested preferences. The Student Techceptionist supports LX Studios reputation that offers excellent customer support for all activities at the downtown OKC locations as well as our online presence. LX Studio is based at the University of Central Oklahoma's newly renovated facility in downtown OKC that offers advanced technology and customizable classroom, training, and meeting space for academic programs and corporate clients. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, clients, and guests, including identifying and assisting them with classroom, technology, and facility needs.
  • Provide basic technical support for instructors in classroom settings.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting of any technology issues.
  • Accurately and promptly report technical problems to the supervisor.
  • Provide some clerical and general office assistance as needed.
  • Respond to customer queries in a professional, timely, and accurately via phone, email, or chat.
  • Record and/or update documentation of technical, facility, and/or process issues and valuable discussions.
  • Share requests and effective workarounds with supervisor and team members.
  • Follow up with students, faculty, staff, clients, and guests to ensure their technical issues are resolved.
