About The Position

This is a Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) student technical position operating as Retention and Outreach Student Ambassador within the department of Retention and Completion. Retention and Outreach Student Ambassadors serve in a variety of roles in support of the Office of Retention and Outreach.

Requirements

• Understanding basic office skills including answering the phone, greeting visitors, and representing an office or team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to students and visitors in Nigh University Center 121
• Represent Retention and Completion via tabling and presentations
• Support events including Start Strong/Finish Strong, First-Generation Week, Transfer Student Week, and similar events
• Student Ambassadors will be trained in the various requirements of the role.
