FVP, Regional Facilities
About The Position
As the First Vice President - Regional Facilities, you will oversee the physical operations and maintenance of a regional building portfolio. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to manage building functions, ensuring all facilities are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. You will also collaborate regularly with executive leadership to report on facility status and align operational planning with broader business goals. You will manage the full scope of facility services, including the optimization of complex HVAC systems, utility management, and the execution of project plans for space modification and occupancy. Leading a team of facilities staff, you will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, and development.
Requirements
- Conversant with technical and critical components of Facilities Management discipline.
- Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles and processes.
- Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, HVAC, generators and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices & procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently.
- Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
Nice To Haves
- Project or Program Management professional preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- General contractors licence preferred.
- Bilingual – Spanish a plus.
