Future Technology Analyst The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. As a Future Technology Analyst, you’ll bring your expertise in technology, market analysis, and information management to work on projects for the DoW. You will research and analyze science and technology- related projects and policies , assess critical technology issues affecting short and long-term war fighting capabilities, and manage a working group in support of the DoW community. You’ll be a t rus ted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , and business models related to force development and force design. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience c ond ucting advanced analysis and synthesizing complex information for force development and force design
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing science and technology projects, companies, and market trends
  • 5+ years of experience developing reports for and communicating with senior leaders in a concise and value-added manner
  • 2+ years of experience supporting a community of interest or practice working groups
  • 2+ years of experience c ond ucting information management and periodic status reports
  • Knowledge of critical science and technology issues affecting short and long-term war fighting capabilities
  • Knowledge of DoW policy directives, issuances, and the experimentation enterprise, including Federally-Funded Research and Development Center s ( FFRDCs ) , University-Affiliated Research Center s ( UARCs ) , and Department of Energy labs
  • Ability to be curious and self-motivated to stay abreast of emerging technologies, companies, and investor sentiment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience working with the DoW science and technology community and experimentation enterprise
  • Experience in product management or go-to-market ( GTM ) strategy
  • Knowledge of how emerging technology companies and startups operate, including how they message investors and customers
  • Ability to work independently, operate in a fast-paced environment, and provide polished, decision-ready products to senior leaders
  • Ability to memorialize complex thoughts for executive-level decision-making
  • Possession of excellent writing skills
  • Master's degree
