The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a full-time instructor position to teach the Professional Skills Training (formerly known as non-credit) Future Fit Program through UA-PTC’s Second Chance Opportunity Program. This position is a visiting instructor, grant funded position and will be housed at a local detention center. The position will be funded for the duration of the grant ending June 2026. If the grant is extended, the position will be extended. The available 12-month position will effectively complete the daily tasks listed below. Daily tasks may include but not limited to: Teach the Future Fit program in a detention center through UA-PTC’s Second Chance Program. The scheduled hours will be 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Some Friday sessions may be required for scheduled meetings. The first cohort will be scheduled 8:00 am – 12:00 pm and the second cohort will be scheduled 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Teach basic mathematics Facilitate the WorkKeys curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based Administer the WorkKeys assessment Facilitate the Tooling U curriculum in a face-to-face format; the curriculum is web-based Administer skill check offs in a one-on-one format with each student utilizing the Amatrol Skill Boss training equipment. The position will be funded for the duration of the grant ending June 2026
