About The Position

Resource Furniture is seeking a highly enthusiastic and driven Furniture Showroom Assistant to join our team in the Seattle Design Center – 5701 6th Avenue S, Suite 239, Seattle WA 98108. This is a full-time, fully in-person position, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Showroom Assistant’s responsibilities will include everything from providing superb client service and support (in-person and via telephone, email, chat, etc.) to Showroom upkeep, sample organization, and data entry. Customer service skills must be at the forefront to ensure our quality of service. Administrative tasks performed in our database (Netsuite) related to scheduling, creating customer service cases, and maintaining reporting, will require organization and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, be curious, solution-oriented, and looking for a place to grow. Ideally a background in sales, customer service, logistics, sales support, and administrative work preferably with high-end showroom environment. This is a highly visible role, working with Resource Furniture's Showroom sales staff, operations team, contracted warehouse and installation teams, as well as our esteemed clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, and support
  • Superb organization skills including calendar management and scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to learn to navigate and work exclusively in an ERP system (Netsuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and provide customer service in-person at our Showroom, via telephone, email, chat, etc.
  • Support Showroom Manager with administrative tasks, quotes, client communication, data entry, and other duties necessary to meet the needs of our clients and colleagues.
  • Provide elevated customer service to our clients by way of effective resolutions which could entail troubleshooting, reordering from our vendors, or organizing additional support from third parties.
  • Assist in maintaining reports database to assure we are delivering orders to our clients in a timely and efficient manner, creating and maintaining customer service records to ensure cases are successfully closed, and making certain all orders receive project management attention.
  • Other duties as assigned to support our day to day operations, sales processes and meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
