About The Position

FURNITURE PREP & ASSEMBLE TRAINEE AT A GLANCE: Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Furniture Prep and Assembly Trainee to join our Operations Team. The position is responsible for assembling pieces of furniture to ensure excellent product quality before being delivered to the customer. DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER: Unpacking and assembly of furniture in an organized manner Inspect furniture for damages Exercise proper product handling techniques Lift and move products up to 50 pounds, or more using appropriate tools Document complete work according to standardized procedures All other duties as assigned MEMORY MAKER PERKS AND BENEFITS: Hourly Rate Paid Weekly This position operates on a contract-to-hire basis Guaranteed Hourly Raise at time of Conversion Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options after conversion Paid time off and 401K matching contribution after conversion Employee discount (40%) at BRR locations after conversion Internal Opportunities for career growth and advancement. Requirements

  • Ability to follow a detailed set of assembly instructions
  • Ability to SAFELY use small power tools and hand tools
  • Properly and safely use tools and box cutters
  • Ability to stand, stoop, walk, and crouch, for an entire shift
  • Willingness to collaborate with other teammates to perform task at hand

Responsibilities
