We’ve expanded with a new business unit — RoXteel — and we’re looking for a skilled Lead Assembler to join us in Wittmann, AZ. RoXteel specializes in industrial steel assembly (manufacturing) and erection, particularly for large-scale infrastructure and equipment for data centers. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Lead Assemble Ironworker to oversee tower assembly operations while maintaining production efficiency and high-quality standards. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to guide crews through all stages of tower construction. Set weekly hours, with overtime potential. This isn't a contract, part-time or temporary position where you'll be laid off after the work is done. We have plenty of work and are looking for dedicated people to join and stay with our team.

Requirements

  • Must have 1–2 years of relevant experience in assembly, structural fabrication, or similar industrial work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
  • Safety-focused mindset in all tasks.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods
  • A team player with a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Lead crews and keep production moving at a steady, efficient pace.
  • Demonstrate confidence and expertise in all tower assembly processes, including: - Decking - Bolting - Final detailing - Loading trucks for shipping - All stages of tower completion
  • Train and mentor new hires and developing assemblers on proper techniques and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Foreman and crew.
  • Accurately assess timelines and production schedules.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
