About The Position

The FURNITURE/LEAD CLERK is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the department. This role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, supporting day-to-day department operations, and encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service while demonstrating the company’s core values. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return
• Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards
• Support the day-to-day functions of the department operations
