About The Position

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of industrial furnaces through proficient welding and fabrication techniques. Responsibilities for Candidates Perform welding and fabrication work on industrial furnaces following safety protocols and procedures. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify defects and areas in need of repair. Repair and replace damaged or worn furnace components, including tubes, refractory materials, and support structures. Utilize various welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and Stick welding, to meet project requirements. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards, codes, and specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain and care for welding equipment, tools, and materials. Document work performed, including welding logs and equipment maintenance records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Furnace Welder in an industrial setting.
• Must pass Weld Test Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and outdoors when required.
