This position involves compassionately facilitating funeral arrangement discussions with the deceased's next of kin and presiding over visitation, funeral, and graveside services in accordance with family wishes, company expectations, and local, state, or federal laws. The role also encompasses embalming responsibilities. As a licensed Funeral Director, the associate is responsible for ensuring compliance with all mortuary, health, and vital statistics regulations within the funeral establishment(s). New associates will be guided in applying their licensure to the business environment, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and will receive peer review, collaboration, and coaching from management.
