The Funeral Apprentice reports to the Location Manager and provides customer service to families following the loss of a loved one, aiming to help them achieve peace. The role involves assisting families in overcoming difficult times by providing exemplary personalized service. Funeral Directors, with whom the apprentice works, implement choices regarding the final disposition of the body and memorialization. The apprentice is a primary contact for families, interacting to fulfill their death care needs, and is responsible for ensuring their full range of needs are addressed. Successful candidates build strong personal and business relationships with customers and are accountable for professional and timely service. Respectful service and attention to customer needs are crucial for ongoing relationships. The ability to contribute as a team member, sharing ideas and process outcomes, is important. All duties must align with the company's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
