About The Position

The Fundraising Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and facilitating fundraising activities and signature events for Planting Fields Foundation. This part-time role focuses on achieving annual fundraising goals through contributions from various sources, including individuals and businesses, while ensuring events are executed smoothly and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in fundraising event planning and development for a nonprofit or arts and culture organization.
• Proven track record in supporting fundraising programs.
• Superior time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interface with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Creative problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and discretion.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office and essential CRM experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for fundraising events.
• Self-motivated and able to communicate the organization's mission effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Development in achieving annual fundraising goals.
• Support in developing, planning, and executing annual fundraising activities and signature events.
• Work closely with event chairs and colleagues to develop and execute fundraising events.
• Ensure events are on schedule and within budget.
• Facilitate event design needs with the marketing team.
• Utilize technology and resources, including Blackbaud Altru CRM, to access the donor database.
• Assist Marketing and Communications staff in creating fundraising event communications.
• Collect content from fundraising events for social media and newsletters.
• Coordinate with the Stewardship Director on major public programming and events.
• Be flexible with work duties and changing organizational priorities.

Benefits

• Part-time hourly position with pay range of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
