Our team is growing: Provide’s Operations team is looking for a bold, compassionate, and focused funding operations specialist to assist in the daily funding and boarding of commercial loans and provide operational support as it relates to the final pre-funding review of loans ready to be funded. In this role, you will focus on overseeing the tracking of projected loan fundings on a day-to-day basis, maintaining internal communication among the Provide Projects, Sales, Scaling, and Loan Operations teams, communicating wire information for authorized loan fundings internally to our bank partners, and assisting our bank partners with the loan boarding process after wires have been sent. As a Provide and Fifth Third Bank team member, you will be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. You will be accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the risk appetites of Provide and Fifth Third Bank, you will be expected to achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. A day in the life: Manage day-to-day interaction with our bank partners, including collaborating with the Funding and Boarding team, as well as the Provide Credit, Closing, Operations, Project teams, and other partners Maintain reports on problem loans and issues for correction Release funding authorizations/wire instructions to our bank partners based on established timeframes Develop and provide supporting analysis of our pipeline and portfolio using Tableau & Microsoft Excel Contribute to asset allocation strategy and process Track, monitor, and report on findings Diagnose multiple conflicting data points creating delivery issues Audit loan files to assess feasibility of funding authorization requests and communicate around any potential risks to funding in a timely manner Communicate professionally across multiple layers of trained team members Diagnose returned wires and solve for proper funding Assist management in evaluating business performance, make recommendations for improvements, and measure progress Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to enhance our bank partners’ experience on our platform and improve operational efficiency Create and categorize allonges in our loan files for our bank partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years related industry experience
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to think independently
  • Strong PC skills and ability to learn, use, and implement new software
  • Superior attention to detail and data validation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team
  • Ability to train and educate others on analysis, methods, and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Tableau and banking systems, such as AFS, ACE, RWI
  • Proven ability to navigate between multiple operating systems and multiple laptops/PCs
  • Experience working with capital markets and financial crimes to ensure reduction in risk of fraudulent wire activity, i.e. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and sanctions hits
  • Proven ability to work within a fast-paced funding environment
