Job Title: Perpetual Finance Fund Accountant – Assistant Vice President Job Description: Responsible for day-to-day activities related to fund accounting, reporting of open-ended core real estate funds administered both externally and internally Liaise with third party fund administrator on items including, but not limited to cash, capital allocations, accruals and expense budgeting, financial statements, capital call drawdown notices, distributions, redemptions, and ad-hoc investor requests Review quarterly estimates and final fund NAVs Responsible for calculation of waterfall and incentive models Manage the expense process and compliance with fund LPAs and firm policies Responsible for financial deliverables associated with BX quarterly close Responsible for production of quarterly and annual fund partnerships’ GAAP financial statements Coordinate with external auditors for annual audit Review quarterly and annual financial regulatory reporting Coordinate with internal audit to ensure SOX compliance Collaborate with multiple internal teams including Tax, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance, Investor Client Services, FP&A, Technology, and Treasury Responsible for management of offshore team The duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position. Expected annual base salary range: $140,000 - $200,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Requirements

  • BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of audit, fund or administrator experience
  • Investment Company accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of common industry performance metrics required
  • A collaborative team player, always willing to assist colleagues
  • Possess a strong work ethic and professional integrity
  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with open-ended funds; real estate industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities
