Join Product Development to help ensure complex, software-enabled vehicle technologies are designed with functional safety from the start. As a key member of the Functional Safety team, you will collaborate with global experts to apply Ford's ISO 26262 processes, methods, tools, and training while using model-based systems engineering (MBSE/SysML) to develop safe and innovative system designs across domains such as infotainment, lighting, entry/exit, occupant comfort, powertrain, vehicle dynamics, active safety, and driver assistance. Senior Functional Safety Engineer (ISO 26262) serving as the local subjectâmatter expert and "goâto" coach. Lead endâtoâend functional safety for complex, softwareâenabled vehicle features across domains (powertrain, infotainment, active safety, driver assistance, EV). Drive MBSE/SysML (MagicDraw) analysis, define safe architectures, mentor teams, and deliver production work products from concept through launch.
