About The Position

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a leader to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team as the manager for the System Tester portfolio. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Please note we will not provide relocation services for this position. What does this role look like? You will will manage a team of electrical and software engineers responsible for development and Sustainment of system and subsystem Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the FBM D5LE program. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Primary responsibility for the technical execution of development and sustainment of ATE projects and thus should have a strong technical background in electrical and/or software engineering. Partner the program management team to ensure projects are executed withing cost and schedule and thus should have project management experience. Responsible for staffing, training, mentoring in technical problem solving, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures, and performance management. To be effective in this role, you will need: Experience in both design and test of electrical military hardware. You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. Why Lockheed Martin? Requirements

  • Minimum of B.S. in a technical engineering discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Strong technical background and project leadership experience in developing and sustaining military hardware
  • Experience developing and managing a project budget and schedule, managing risks and opportunities, and managing to metrics
  • Proposal/cost-estimating experience
  • Qualified candidate must have the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required.
  • Experience in both design and test of electrical military hardware.
  • You will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing and sustaining Automated Test Equipment
  • Analog, Digital, and/or RF design experience
  • Software development experience
  • Hardware and/or software architecture development experience
  • Experience working Naval contracts
  • Knowledge of cyber security concepts
